Katherine Tay
Katherine began learning the harp from her mother at age four. Alongside her twin sister Karen, she joined the children’s harp ensemble Harps Unlimited, performing at numerous events under Magdalene Wong’s guidance. She continued her harp ensemble experience in secondary school with the Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ Harp Ensemble.

Katherine also volunteered at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where she and her friends played harp and guitar for elderly patients, bringing joy through familiar tunes on Saturday afternoons.
​
Professionally, she has performed regularly at iconic venues like the Fullerton Hotel, Shangri-La, and Raffles Hotel, with a diverse repertoire spanning movie themes, classic oldies, and contemporary pop.
